SanusBio Research, LLC
Two branches. One campus.
SanusBio Research operates two related branches in the same Crawford, Georgia facility: biosensor platform development and BSL-2 / ABSL-2 animal and containment research. Sharing the building lets each branch strengthen the other.
Why the two branches benefit each other
- Development informed by real containment work: Sensor platforms are evaluated against how studies actually run in BSL-2 and ABSL-2 housing.
- Animal research supported by on-campus engineering: Contract and collaborative studies can draw on local monitoring and engineering expertise without leaving the facility.
- Shared SPF colony with Farms: The on-site SPF ferret colony is next door, giving both branches access to SPF animal models under the same IACUC and facility registrations.
